We aim to reply within one working day. Messages sent over a weekend are usually answered early the following week.

Can you recommend a kit if I describe my trip?
Yes — that's exactly what the form is for. The more you tell us about the route, season and your past experience, the more specific our answer can be.
Do you give advice for routes outside Japan?
Our knowledge is strongest for trails in Japan, where most of our gear is used. We're happy to share general thoughts on conditions elsewhere, but we'll always be honest about the limits of what we know.
Will I be added to a mailing list?
No. Sending a message does not sign you up for anything. We only reply to what you've asked.
